How much does an appraisal cost?
Fees for appraisal services vary greatly depending on the type of property and the use of the report. Different types of properties require more investigation and analysis in order to complete the valuation. As well, depending on the use of the report the depth of the report will vary from a short form style report to a long written narrative report.
Fees are based on the estimated time and expenses required to professionally complete the assignment. The fee is not based on the value of property, however, based on the difficulty and extent of the assignment.
